The school year has just begun for Monmouth University students and we have our first, “college kids are bad” report for the year!
Let’s review this article, shall we? First, the event took place in Ocean Township – a town renowned for its destruction of collegiate civil rights. Right off the bat I take everything that may or may not have happened at this particular event with a grain of salt.
Oooo, it’s the third time this month that police have had to respond to an underage drinking party. Funny – they respond to three underage drinking parties on the drop of a dime, but it took them months to figure out that a pervert was living amongst them.
They go on to say that the police have broken up a number of high school parties, too. Okay, that’s fair reporting. No complaints there.
The rest of the article details what happened when the police went to the party, who got tickets, where the kids were from, etc. From the story, it seems like this was a situation that needed to be “broken up” for the sake of the neighbors…but given the history of Ocean Township and their EXTREMELY nosy neighbors, I wouldn’t be surprised if the locals had all been staying up late to wait for a party to take place.
Then again, I wasn’t there so I won’t offer such comments…I’ll just think them to myself and now that given previous experiences, I’m probably right. 😉
