Howdy everybody! First of all, yes – it is “snowing” on this website. I found a little script that makes it appear that it is snowing on the website and as a way for me to extend my celebration of the Christmas season – we’ll have some snow for the next few days (Lord knows it doesn’t snow in Tinton Falls).

Just thought I’d offer this quick, somewhat annoying update on my latest staycation, which began on Christmas Eve. Like some other people out there, I’ll be off from work from Christmas Eve through January 5th. Why another staycation so close to my last one in October? Well, the paid time off policy at my job dictates that if you don’t use your days, then you lose them (and there is no option to sell them back to the company). I intend to use this time off to finish up a bunch of items on my “to do” list. However, it seems that I’ve contracted some type of stomach virus over Christmas. Wonderful!

What a horrible time to be sick. I’m hoping that this condition clears up quickly so that I can make the most of my time off from work. I figure that I’ll just swallow some Pepto and see if that calms my stomach down a bit. Anyway, just thought I’d offer that quick update on my latest staycation!
