From the Asbury Park Press Online:
NEWARK (AP) — The former chairman of the Sussex County Democratic Party was sentenced Wednesday to six months in federal prison for helping bankrupt the health fund of the labor union he had founded.
Charles W. Cart, who pleaded guilty in May to two conspiracy charges, must also serve six months under house arrest and repay $144,077 to the bankruptcy trustee for Local 16 of the United Service Workers of America in Newton.
Cart, 57, of Newton, was the fourth and final person to admit a role in victimizing the union, which represents factory workers, auto mechanics, salespersons and others.
Hey, let’s make sure that the Democrats get another sweeping victory in New Jersey the next time we have our elections, ok? There are low-income folks in this state who are so brainwashed into voting for whoever has the “D” after their name that they don’t even care about stories like this one.
But what’s the point of complaining in New Jersey? The Democrats are just going to win the next election (and the one after that) and the low-income areas of New Jersey will rejoice…
…as New Jersey politicians continue to pick their pockets.
