Sometimes, the liberal sycophants on MSNBC hit the nail directly on the head. The video below depicts one of those times. I’m not sure what the guy in the video’s name is, but I share every single one of his frustrations. The only place where he and I differ is in wanting this President to stand up and make and lead the Congress and the country. More thoughts after the video…
The reason why I’m not interested in watching Barack Obama continue to be the “leader” of this country is because the man has very poor leadership skills. And don’t think I’m flattered with the Republicans, either. When I look at the national, elected Republican leadership I can’t help but shake my head while thinking, “Mitch McConnell and John Boehner are the best that this party can do?”
The economy is in the dump because, in part, the leadership qualities of our nation’s leaders are even further in the dump.

Thanks, Martin. Even with these great video clips, I’m sort of ambivalent towards politics any more. And it’s not just the politics – it’s the news media, too. I watch FOX News and read the New York Times – can’t get more “balanced” than that! But even still – these reporters are missing the real stories.
Take the Occupy nonsense for a minute. The story here is that everyone agreed with them during the first week or two, then they started getting taken over by other causes and groups which caused everyone to stop supporting them, and then they became this band of useless crybabies that no one wanted to hear any more. And yet TIME chooses them as the “Person of the Year?” Really? They haven’t changed one bit of policy nor impacted any pending policies at the federal, state, or even local levels.
But what infuriates me the most is that no one is telling the real story of some of the folks who are running that movement. For example, I actually know one of the people who was a lead organizer for the Wall Street group and though the news media quoted him over and over, they never bothered to ask about him. They never bothered to learn that he comes from a family who is ridiculously wealthy, that he smoked away his chance at a college degree from a very costly institution, and that he had and has all of his expenses paid for him. I mean come on – talk about missing the forest for the trees.
And that’s how I feel about politics these days, too. Look at Newt Gingrich – this is the guy who has all of the right answers and the ability to solve our country’s major problems in a bipartisan way with solutions that will last for decades – if not centuries. Yet, the media has decided that he’s not going to win so they’re crushing him. Same thing was true of people on the Democratic side a few years ago (Hillary Clinton, for example).
It’s all very disenfranchising, which is why I stick to posting video clips like this one on an infrequent basis. Anyway, I hope you’re well!
