It’s unbelievable to me that every fucking time it snows a little bit in this state, the entire place goes ape shit! So there was a dusting of snow on the ground this morning, so what?
I had to sit in 30 minutes of extra traffic because people wanted to go slow-to-a-stop on the Garden State Parkway this morning. Thanks, jerks. And is if that’s not bad enough, our state is so concerned about making sure they get the same budget (or bigger) next year that they got this year that they had salt trucks out all day today – even when the roads were bone dry on the Parkway!
None of this would matter to me except for the fact that I had the great pleasure of getting caught about 5 feet behind one of these monsters this afternoon. And these things don’t just spray salt and dirt all over the place, they take up 2 lanes and are a bitch to get around.
So people – stop going fucking bonkers when it snows out. It’s just snow!
Im in southern Maryland we had the threat of snow and schools where shut down at 4 am this morning. My step kid went to school and was sent home 2hours early over the forecast for the afternoon of 1 to 3 inches between 1 and 5 pm> we have not had anything other then a dusting. I for some reason want to remember having to go to school in bad snow storms.
